Luis Rodil-Fernández
Gym of Obsolete Technology
16:00 07-02-2016
Luis Rodil-Fernández tells a story about the importance that radio had in shaping nascent forms of social networking with the people of his neighborhood and why it was the perfect medium for pre-Internet software piracy. The broadcast includes the transmission of an iconic image represented as a sound piece in what could be considered an act of preservation, a way of recording in one medium the imprint of another. This broadcast is an extension of the exhibition Gym of Obsolete Technology at the W139 in Amsterdam.
