Writers Sabrine Ingabire and Munganyende Hélène Christelle speak to Rita Ouédraogo, about the soon-to-be-launched publication Being Imposed Upon - a timeless love letter and manual by and for black women, a collection of reflections on being a woman and being black in Belgium.

Being Imposed Upon is a project initiated by Vesna Faassen en Lukas Verdijk. It unites non-fiction essays, literary reflections, poetry, activist and academic texts around black women's search for freedom. This book is a tribute to their elderly, heroes and sisters
